St. Johns River Community College is a 2-year public educational institution with campuses in Clay, Putnam and St. Johns counties. In August 1999, the college began operating a center in Ponte Vedra Beach. The college’s broad comprehensive programs and services include Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Science degrees, technical and vocational certificates, adult education, continuing education, telecourses and online courses, apprenticeship programs, and bachelor degree opportunities through partnerships with four-year colleges.

The A.A. degree guarantees graduates acceptance into any of Florida’s state universities. SJRCC also offers nearly 40 A.S. program majors. Many students opt to take courses part-time at the college while working in the St. Johns County area, and programs and courses can be used by many who are already employed to upgrade their skills or to cross-train into other areas.
